ETERNAL anticorrosive acrylic is designed to protect metal constructions against corrosion as a primer. It is also suitable for mixed constructions where steel is in contact with new non-corroded galvanized sheet metal.
Application:
ETERNAL anticorrosive acrylic should be applied in 2 layers after proper mixing onto a well-cleaned metal substrate, free of any non-adhering old coats and corrosion residues (e.g., with a rotary steel brush) and degreased; use ETERNAL degreaser. The paint must be applied immediately after cleaning the substrate. It is not intended for spraying with electric vibration guns. The time between individual coats is 5 hours at 20°C. Coating of steel substrates should be done in a dry environment. The minimum temperature of the substrate and the environment during application is 10°C. In cold weather, it is advisable to first apply one very thin coat so that it dries quickly. The dried primer must be covered (1-2 layers) with a top coat, e.g., ETERNAL matte acrylic.
