ETERNAL roof paint is a water-dilutable coating with waterproofing properties based on a water dispersion of acrylic copolymers, pigments, fillers, and special additives. ETERNAL for roofs creates a permanently flexible coating film after drying, even at low temperatures, with excellent adhesion to fiber cement and concrete, long-lasting weather resistance, high UV resistance, and resistance to chemical fallout. Using the ETERNAL roof coating, it is possible to cover and seal small cracks in the substrate.

A permanently flexible coating for protective coatings and minor repairs of fiber cement, concrete, and asphalt roofing significantly extending their lifespan. ETERNAL for roofs is designed for maintaining roofing made of fiber cement, concrete and unglazed fired roof tiles, and wooden shingles on roofs with a slope of at least 10°. It is also suitable for painting asphalt coverings. After drying, ETERNAL for roofs creates a waterproof coating film with high adhesion to the substrate, long-lasting durability, UV resistance, and remains permanently flexible even at low temperatures. Using ETERNAL roof coating, it is possible to cover and seal small cracks in the substrate.

Consumption:

fiber cement, concrete and fired roof tiles, wooden shingles 0.50 - 0.55 kg/m² (2 layers), asphalt membranes 0.50 - 1.00 kg/m² (2 layers).

Application:

ETERNAL for roofs should be applied on the prepared substrate after proper mixing, using a brush, roller, or high-pressure spraying in one or two layers at a substrate and ambient temperature between 8 °C and 30 °C. When applying with high-pressure airless spraying, ETERNAL for roofs is sprayed undiluted at a pressure of 250 bar with nozzle No. 517 or larger (verified on VYZA vario equipment). A possible second coat can be applied after a minimum of 12 hours. Tools must be cleaned immediately after application with water.

The covering must be thoroughly cleaned of mechanical dirt, soot, and moss, non-adherent old coatings, degraded surface layers, and degreased (preferably with a solution of ETERNAL degreaser concentrate or another suitable detergent followed by rinsing with water). A clean absorbent substrate should be saturated with the special penetrating agent FORTE penetral. The asphalt covering does not need to be penetrated. We penetrate with one coat until the substrate is saturated. The moment the penetrating agent begins to form a glossy film on the surface of the covering, we conclude the penetration and wipe off any excess penetrating agent. After a technological pause of at least 6 hours, we apply ETERNAL for roofs.

When applying to older, very porous, and non-cohesive coverings, it is necessary to perform a paint test and seek the manufacturer's expert advice.
