Description Eternal mat Revital paint for restoring old coatings, 201 white, 700 g

ETERNAL mat Revital is a universal silk-matt water-based coating material for indoor and outdoor use prepared from a special crosslinkable dispersion of acrylic copolymers, pigments, fillers, and additives. It forms relatively hard, elastic matt coatings with high weather resistance and excellent blocking resistance even at higher temperatures. It is characterized by very good opacity, good flow, quick drying, and excellent adhesion to old synthetic and oil-based coatings. ETERNAL mat Revital meets the conditions of ČSN EN 71 part 3 Safety of toys Migration of certain elements.

Area of application:
ETERNAL mat Revital is intended for indoor and outdoor coatings of wood, fiberboard, chipboard, and cement-bonded particleboards, drywall, non-walkable concrete, metal substrates treated with anti-corrosive paint, and certain types of plastics (tough PVC, hard PVC, ABS, polystyrene plastics, Umakart, polyester and epoxy laminates; not suitable for coatings on PE, PP, PTFE). On plastics of unknown composition, a test coating must be carried out beforehand. It is suitable for painting window frames and sashes, including plastic windows, doors, door frames, bodies of central heating, school boards, furniture, such as wooden, metal, and plastic chairs, shelves, benches, carpet beaters, children's playground equipment, etc. ETERNAL mat Revital is suitable for both new and renovation coatings.

Application:
ETERNAL mat Revital is applied to a dry, perfectly cleaned, and degreased substrate free of loose particles and residues of non-adherent coatings using a brush, roller, pneumatic or high-pressure airless spraying, at substrate and ambient temperatures from 8 °C to 30 °C and a maximum relative humidity of 75%. Depending on the chosen application technology, the coating material is diluted with water up to a maximum of 15% by weight. For application by high-pressure airless spraying, ETERNAL mat Revital is not diluted. It is sprayed at a pressure of 160 bar using nozzle no. 311 or larger (verified on VYZA vario equipment). ETERNAL mat Revital is applied in two to three layers depending on the desired thickness, with a time interval of at least 2 hours (20 °C). If the temperature is lower and the relative humidity is higher, the time interval
must be extended. Extension is also necessary for highly absorbent substrates.

Consumption (final coat):

  • wood, fiberboards 0.22 – 0.35 kg/m²
  • metals 0.20 – 0.25 kg/m²
  • concrete, plaster 0.30 – 0.35 kg/m²

Coating of steel substrates:
Steel substrates must be carefully cleaned of corrosion products, mechanical impurities, residues of loose old coatings, and degreased (preferably with a solution of ETERNAL degreaser concentrate or another suitable detergent followed by rinsing with water). The prepared and dry substrate should be coated with one to two layers of ETERNAL anti-corrosive acrylic paint or ETERNAL for metals with an interval of 4 hours between coatings. After the anti-corrosive coating has dried, apply two coats of ETERNAL mat Revital paint with a time interval of 2 hours between coats.

Wood, fiberboard, and chipboard coatings:
The substrate should be thoroughly cleaned of dust and mechanical impurities, resin spots removed (e.g. by washing with thinner), and the surface impregnated with FORTEKRYL impregnation agent with protective effects against wood-destroying and wood-staining fungi and wood-destroying insects. In dry interiors, a penetrating agent FORTE penetral can also be used. After the impregnation has dried, the surface should be sanded with fine sandpaper. Fiberboards and chipboards should then be coated with one layer of ETERNAL In stop insulating paint against the possible penetration of color stains from the substrate into the topcoat. After the insulating coat has dried, the surface should be sanded with fine sandpaper. Apply two coats of ETERNAL mat Revital paint to the prepared substrate with a time interval of 2 hours between coats.

Coatings for concrete surfaces and plasters:
Mineral substrates should be cleaned of non-adherent coatings, mechanical impurities, and greasy surfaces should be thoroughly degreased (ETERNAL degreaser). The dry substrate should be impregnated with FORTE penetral and after it has dried, apply two coats of ETERNAL mat Revital paint with an interval of 3 hours between coats. For very absorbent substrates (plasters), ETERNAL mat Revital diluted with water in a ratio of 1:1 can also be used for impregnation. Mineral substrates must be sufficiently carbonated.

Coatings of chip cement boards:
Chip cement boards must be sufficiently carbonated. The surface of the boards must be thoroughly cleared of mechanical impurities, non-adherent old coatings, degraded surface layers, and grease. The prepared substrate should be thoroughly saturated with a special penetrating agent FORTE penetral. Penetration is best achieved with one coat until the substrate is saturated. Once the dried penetrating agent begins to form a glossy film on the surface, the penetration is complete. After a minimum of six hours post-penetration, apply two coats of ETERNAL mat Revital paint with a technological break of 4 hours between coats.

Coatings for plastics:
The surface of the plastics must be perfectly cleaned, free from any residues of old non-adherent surface treatments, glues, separators, protective films, and degreased (preferably with a solution of ETERNAL degreaser concentrate or another suitable detergent followed by rinsing with water). Glossy surfaces are best sanded with fine sandpaper (no. 360 or finer). Two coats of ETERNAL mat Revital paint should be applied to the prepared substrate with a technological break of 4 hours between coats
