For topcoats of asphalt and metal roofs and for outdoor steel structures already treated with asphalt coatings (at least priming) - tanks, metal roofs, wire fences. It is also used as a protective coating for wood. Reflexol is applied cold, after thorough mixing - it is not diluted, applied with a brush, roller, or by spraying. It should not be applied in rain, drizzle, or on damp substrates, and cannot be applied to roofs in very sunny weather. Reflexol should be applied to suspension substrates only after 10 days, when the substrate has matured.
Coatings with Reflexol are effective against weather influences (preventing oxidation of the surface of the asphalt coating), especially solar radiation (reflecting about 84% of radiation compared to the reflection of pure aluminum), thus extending the lifespan of asphalt coverings and reducing the runoff of asphalt materials. It ensures better walkability on asphalt coatings during the summer. It lowers the surface temperature of bituminous layers compared to a black surface by about 10 – 15 °C.
Consumption:
0.3 kg/m², if the thickness of the reflective coating is greater - the coating is applied in a crosswise manner, always after the previous coat has dried. For applying Reflexol by spraying, spraying equipment can be used, e.g., Vyza 1 - nozzles C and D, inlet pressure 5 atm, spray gun nozzles 12-18.
