PLASTIC PLASTER is plaster with an extended setting time intended for construction and plastering work. It is suitable for leveling holes and unevenness in walls and ceilings (plaster, masonry, panels, drywall, etc.) and also as a plaster filler in interiors. A well-dried plaster repair is easy to sand.
The substrate must be solid, load-bearing, and cohesive, free of dirt and grease. Clean and moisten the application area with water using a brush or sprayer. Measure 0.25 l of clean water into a plastering bowl and slowly add 0.5 kg of plaster. After about 1 minute of resting and soaking, mix the plaster with a spatula into a smooth paste without lumps. The consistency should resemble thick porridge. At this moment, the time for processing the plaster is approximately 45 minutes. After applying the material, immediately smooth the surface with a spatula, sponge, or brush. Complete hardening occurs depending on the temperature in approximately 1 hour. Use clean containers and tools during processing. Process the plaster only at ambient and substrate temperatures above 5 °C. Do not load anchored materials (anchors, etc.) for at least 12 hours.
Storage:
When stored in original unopened packaging in a dry environment at a temperature of 5–30 °C, the shelf life is 24 months from the filling date indicated on the packaging. Exposure to moisture before processing may cause changes in physical properties and a decrease in reactivity with water. To protect the product during or before processing, opened or damaged packages must be properly protected from exposure to atmospheric humidity.
Health and safety during work:
Do not eat, drink, or smoke while working and observe basic hygiene rules. In case of eye contact, rinse thoroughly with flowing water for 10–15 minutes. If ingested accidentally, rinse the mouth and drink at least 0.5 l of water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of any unused product or remnants of hardened plaster together with municipal waste.
