Description Uniflex white plaster, modeling, 20 kg
MODELING PLASTER represents a fast-setting plaster material designed for electrical installation and modeling work. It is excellent for leveling small irregularities on walls (brickwork, plaster, panels, gypsum board, etc.) before painting indoors. You can use it for temporarily securing wiring, pipes, electrical outlets, anchors, or mounting strips and profiles. The plaster is also suitable for less demanding modeling and making decorative ceramic castings.
Not intended for use in outdoor environments, for jointing gypsum boards or ceramic tiles, on floor constructions, and permanently damp places. It is not suitable for wood, metals, glass, plastics, or as a base layer for ceramic cladding or silicate coatings.
Working procedure of modeling plaster
The substrate must be solid and cohesive, free from dirt and grease. Clean and moisten the application area with water using a brush or spray. Measure 0.25 l of clean water into a plaster mixing bowl and slowly add 0.5 kg of plaster. After about 1 minute of resting and saturating, mix the plaster with a spatula into a smooth mass without lumps. The consistency should resemble thick porridge. From this moment, you have approximately 8 minutes to process the plaster. Full curing occurs depending on the temperature in about 10–12 minutes. Use clean containers and tools when processing. Process the plaster only at an ambient and substrate temperature above 5 °C. Do not load anchored materials (anchors, etc.) for at least 12 hours.
Physical and mechanical properties of plaster:
- White color
- The stated technical parameter values represent an average (real properties may exhibit certain deviations)
- Bulk density 900 ± 200 kg/m3
- Setting start > 8 minutes
- Setting end < 12 minutes
- Grain size, R=0.2 mm < 5 %
- Mixing ratio with water for 1 kg of plaster / 0.5 l of water
- Changing the ratio of water and plaster affects the properties of the mixed material, especially the setting time and final strength
Storage life:
When stored in original undamaged packaging in a dry environment at temperatures of 5–30 °C, the shelf life is 24 months from the filling date marked on the packaging. Due to moisture affecting the product before processing, there may be changes in physical properties and a decrease in reactivity with water. To preserve the product's properties during or before use, it is essential to thoroughly protect opened or damaged packages from air moisture.
