MODEL PLASTER is fast-setting plaster intended for modeling and electrical installation work. It is suitable for leveling minor wall imperfections (plaster, masonry, panels, drywall, etc.) before painting indoors. It can be used for temporary fixation of cables, pipes, electrical outlets, dowels, and the installation of profiles. Plaster can also be used for less demanding modeling work and for pouring decorative ceramics.
Not suitable for outdoor work, for grouting ceramic tiles or drywall, for floors and permanently damp areas, glass, wood, plastics, metals, and as a base layer for cladding or silicate coatings.
The substrate must be solid and cohesive, free from dirt and grease. Clean the application area and moisten it with water using a brush or sprayer. Measure 0.25 l of clean water into the plastering bowl and slowly pour in 0.5 kg of plaster. After about 1 min of resting and soaking, mix the plaster with a spatula into a smooth mixture without lumps. The consistency should resemble thick porridge. From this moment, the working time for the plaster is approximately 8 min. Complete curing occurs depending on the temperature in about 10–12 min. Use clean containers and tools during processing. Work with plaster only at ambient and substrate temperatures above 5 °C. Do not load anchored materials (dowels, etc.) for at least 12 hours.
Shelf life:
When stored in original unopened packages in a dry environment at temperatures of 5–30 °C, the shelf life is 24 months from the filling date indicated on the package. Exposure to moisture before processing can lead to changes in physical properties and decreased reactivity with water. Open or damaged packages must be adequately protected from atmospheric moisture during or before processing.
