Description Uniflex Oil Glazier's Putty, Paintable, 500 g
Uniflex oil glazier's putty is intended for repairing small imperfections. On the surface it dries within 24 hours and is paintable after 14 days. It is used for securing and sealing sheet glass into frames made of wood and metal. The wooden frame must be free of all mechanical impurities and must be treated with a primer and painted before glazing. The glazier's putty is applied in a thin layer into the rabbet and the glass pane is placed so that it adheres across the entire area. The glass is fastened with clips and the putty is pressed with a glazier's knife into the rabbet where the glass is seated. After filling the rabbet, the surface of the putty is smoothed.

Using a special glazier's knife or spatula.

Linseed oil varnish.
