Description Uniflex oil-based glazier putty, repaintable, 6 kg
Uniflex oil-based glazier putty for repairing small irregularities. The putty sets within 24 hours and is repaintable after 14 days. For sealing, securing sheet glass into wooden and metal frames. The wooden frame must be free of all mechanical impurities and must be primed and painted with a base coat before glazing. Glazier putty is applied in a thin layer into the rabbet and the glass sheet is placed to adhere over the entire surface. The glass is secured with clips and the putty is pressed into the rabbet using a glazier knife, in which the glass is set. After filling the rabbet, the surface of the putty is smoothed.
Application of glazier putty:
With a special glazier knife or spatula.
Thinner for glazier putty:
Linseed oil varnish.
Color of glazier putty:
gray-beige
Consistency of glazier putty:
buttery, suitable for application, should not run off the spatula.
Composition of glazier putty:
Dispersion of inorganic pigments and fillers in a binder, which consists of drying and semi-drying oils.
