Description Uniflex oil glazier putty, paintable, 2 kg
Uniflex oil glazier putty for repairing small irregularities. The putty superficially dries within 24 hours and is paintable after 14 days. For sealing, securing sheet glass into wooden and metal frames. The wooden frame must be free of all mechanical impurities before glazing and must be primed and painted with a base coat. Glazier putty is applied in a thin layer into the rabbet and the glass pane is placed so that it adheres over the entire surface. The glass is secured with points and the putty is pressed with a glazier's knife into the rabbet where the glass is located. After filling the rabbet, the surface of the putty is smoothed.
Application of glazier putty:
With a special glazier's knife or spatula.
Thinner for glazier putty:
Linseed oil varnish.
Color of glazier putty:
gray-beige
Consistency of glazier putty:
buttery, suitable for application, should not run off the spatula.
Composition of glazier putty:
