Soudal finishing putty, paintable, white, 280 ml

Soudal finishing acrylic putty is a paintable special putty based on acrylic that creates a surface with a grainy texture. Suitable for repairs and joints of masonry, plaster surfaces, and other porous substrates. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.

Characteristics of Soudal finishing putty:

• coarse-grained texture,
• color stable, weather-resistant after curing,
• very good adhesion to porous materials,
• paintable after curing.

Examples of using Soudal finishing putty:

• Filling joints and cracks on facades,
• repairing cracks on textured surfaces,
• touch-up repairs on textured surfaces,
• finishing coarse grouting around installed elements,
• the above joints up to expansion joints of ±10%.

Technical data of Soudal finishing putty:

• Acrylic dispersion base.
• Consistency paste.
• Curing system physical drying.
• Skin formation (20 °C/65 % r.h.) approx. 20min.
• Shrinkage approx. 15%.
• Specific gravity approx. 1.70 g/ml.
• Temperature resistance -20 °C to +80 °C.

Substrates:

Suitable surfaces: all porous building materials. Surface condition: clean, dry, free from grease and dust. Preparation: thoroughly clean the surface, remove loose particles. It is recommended to always perform a preliminary adhesion test.

Working procedure:

Application: using a caulking gun (pneumatic or manual). Adjust the surface before skin formation with a smoothing tool. You can adjust the surface of the applied putty with a damp sponge to enhance the grainy appearance. Working temperature: Work at temperatures of +5 °C to +30 °C. Cleaning: Can be cleaned with water before curing. After curing, it can be washed with water, painted over with any paints, and can only be removed mechanically. Repairs: Finishing putty.

Warning:

Do not use where there is a risk of permanent water exposure. Do not apply if there is an immediate risk of rain or frost. It is paintable with most available paints. The top coat must be sufficiently flexible, as it will be applied to a flexible-plastic putty. Before the actual painting, it is recommended to test the compatibility of the paint and putty.
