Soudal acrylic sealant, paintable, white, 300 ml

Acrylic sealant with paintability designed for filling and sealing cracks and joints in plasters, for corner joints between walls and ceilings, joints around door and window frames, stairs, floor and other decorative skirting boards etc. After curing, it is paintable with common paints. The sealant is also suitable for sealing joints and cracks in drywall, interior connection joints of window frames and door casings, sealing joints between walls and interior window sills or connections of decorative skirting boards with walls.

Surface preparation for sealant:

Suitable surfaces: all porous building materials (except PE and PP). Surface condition: dry, clean, free from dust and grease. Preparation: very absorbent surfaces should be primed with diluted sealant (1 part Acrylic sealant and 2 parts water). It is recommended to always conduct a preliminary adhesion test.

Working procedure:
Applying: Apply the sealant using a mechanical or pneumatic dispensing gun. Application temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C, do not work if rain or frost is expected during the time needed for the sealant to fully cure. Cleaning: Uncured Acrylic sealant can be cleaned with water, after curing it can only be removed mechanically. Smoothing the surface: Smooth the surface with a plastering trowel and soapy water. Warning:
Do not use in areas where permanent moisture is a risk. Do not apply if rain or frost is imminent. Acrylic sealant can be painted with most available paints. The coatings used should be chosen with regard to the paintability of flexible-plastic sealants and should be sufficiently flexible. It is always recommended to conduct compatibility tests between the paint and sealant.
