Paintable sealant based on acrylic for sealing and caulking joints and cracks in plaster, corner joints of walls and ceilings, joints around window and door frames, stairs, floor and other decorative moldings, etc. Once cured, it is paintable with standard paints. The sealant is also suitable for sealing joints and cracks in drywall, connection joints of window frames and door frames indoors, sealing joints between walls and interior window sills, and joints between decorative moldings and walls.
Suitable surfaces: all porous construction materials (except PE and PP). Surface condition: clean, dry, free from dust and grease. Preparation: very absorbent surfaces should be pre-treated with diluted sealant (1 part Acrylic sealant to 2 parts water). It is recommended to always conduct a preliminary adhesion test.
Working procedure:
Application: Apply the sealant using a mechanical or pneumatic caulking gun. Application temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C, do not work if rain or frost is expected during the time needed for the sealant to fully cure. Cleaning: Uncured Acrylic sealant can be cleaned with water, once cured it can only be removed mechanically. Smoothing the surface: Smooth the surface with a smoothing tool and soapy water. Repairs: Acrylic sealant
Warning:
Do not use in areas where permanent moisture is likely. Do not apply if rain or frost is imminent. Acrylic sealant can be painted over with most available paints. The coatings used should be chosen with regard to the repaintability of flexible-plastic sealants and should be sufficiently flexible. It is recommended to always perform a compatibility test of the paint and the sealant.
