Soudal roof bitumen sealant, black, 300 ml

Bitumen sealant for roofs ideal for sealing and repairs on roofs. Suitable for sealing joints or repairing cracks in asphalt roofing, sealing joints between drainage and roofing elements. Roof sealant suitable for all types of substrates, bonds even on wet surfaces.

Characteristics of Soudal roof bitumen sealant:

Examples of using Soudal bitumen sealant:

• Joints with movement up to 10%,
• bitumen (asphalt) materials and all common construction surfaces, sealing roof seams, gaps, and cracks,
• sealing joints between drainage and roofing elements,
• agent for repairing leaks in roofs, gutters, and sloping pipes.

Technical data of Soudal bitumen sealant:

• Base Bitumen.
• Consistency paste.
• Curing system physical drying.
• Skin formation within 24 hours.
• Shrinkage approx. 11%.
• Temperature resistance -20 °C to +80 °C.
• Specific gravity (DIN 53479) approx. 1.1 g/ml.
• Maximum deformation 10%.

Substrates:

Suitable surfaces: all common building materials. Surface condition: clean, dry, free of grease and dust. Surface preparation: not required. It is always recommended to conduct a preliminary adhesion test.

Working procedure:

Application: with a caulking gun. Working temperature: +1 °C to +30 °C. Cleaning: White Spirit (paint thinner) immediately after application. Surface treatment: soap and water before skin formation. Repairs: Roof sealant.

• P370+P378: In case of fire: Use extinguishing media according to safety data sheet/ sand/ carbon dioxide to extinguish.
• P501: Dispose of contents/container according to product instructions.
