Highly flexible insulating sealant for outdoor and indoor use. Paintable with all types of paints, waterproof and impermeable, color-stable, resistant to aging, UV radiation, and other weather influences, does not crack or dry out. Suitable for joints with movement.
Characteristics of Soudal insulating sealant:
- Very easy to use,
- color-stable, water-resistant after curing,
- suitable for interior and exterior,
- very good adhesion to most materials,
- paintable with most paints after curing,
- excellent resistance to aging.
Examples of use for Soudal insulating sealant:
- Sealing joints between window and door frames and masonry,
- sealing joints between walls and sills,
- sealing joints with painting requirements,
- repairing cracks in walls and ceilings,
- the above joints up to 15% movement.
Substrates:
Suitable surfaces: most construction materials. Surface condition: clean, dry, free of grease and dust. Preparation: thoroughly clean the surface, no special treatment is required. It is always recommended to perform a compatibility test of the paint and sealant.
Working procedure:
Application: using a caulking gun (manual or pneumatic). Working temperature: +5 °C to +30 °C. Cleaning: can be cleaned with water before curing. After curing, it is washable with water, paintable with any paints, and can only be removed mechanically. Repairs: Insulating sealant.
