Soudal universal silicone, white, 280 ml

Acetate universal silicone sealant offers versatile use for construction and structural joints both indoors and outdoors, in sanitary areas, etc. It can be applied to most materials except plastics. It is characterized by permanent flexibility, color stability, long lifespan, and resistance to UV radiation.

Substrates:

Suitable surfaces: all common substrates except PVC, PE, PP, PTFE, and bitumen materials. Surface condition: clean, dry, free from dust and grease. Preparation: penetrate porous materials with Primer 150, non-porous materials do not need treatment. It is always recommended to perform a compatibility test beforehand.

Joint size:

Minimum width: 5 mm. Maximum width: 30 mm. Minimum depth: 5 mm. Recommendation: joint depth = ½ joint width. To define joint depth and prevent sealant adhesion to its bottom, always use a non-adhesive material, e.g., PE sealing cord.

Application procedure:

Application: with a cartridge gun (manual or pneumatic). Working temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C. Cleaning: before curing with White Spirit (paint thinner) or acetone, after curing mechanically and with Soudal Silicone Remover. Adjustments: before skin formation with a sealing tool and Soudal sealant smoothing agent or soapy water. Repairs: Universal silicone.

Notes:

Due to its acetate nature, it may react with certain metals (copper, lead). Do not use this sealant for sealing natural stones like marble, etc. For these applications, use Silirub MA. Avoid contact between this sealant and primary glazing sealant of insulating double glazing or PVB foil of safety glass.
