Soudal 60A Construction Adhesive for Wood, Clear, 300 ml

Soudal 60A is a construction polyurethane adhesive for wood designed for bonding furniture, wooden parts, and structural elements made of wood, as well as bonding a variety of other materials, such as bricks, concrete, metals, rubber, foams, or polystyrene. It is also suitable for making laminated panels or manufacturing door and window frames. This is a non-dripping construction polyurethane adhesive for wood characterized by an extraordinary adhesive strength of 100 kg/cm². Once cured, the wood adhesive is transparent and permanently water-resistant according to class D4 (ČSN EN 204). The product leaves no stains and can be applied on slightly damp substrates. It is also applicable for bonding surfaces that are not entirely flat, as it slightly foams during curing. It offers quick drying, good filling ability due to foaming, high adhesive strength, and excellent water resistance.

Transparent water-resistant polyurethane adhesive for wood with extraordinarily high joint strength of up to 100 kg/cm². It slightly foams during curing, reliably filling the irregularities of the substrate. It does not drip during application, creates an invisible bond, and is suitable for professional use.

• bonding many other types of materials – bricks, concrete, metals, rubber, polystyrene, foams, etc.,
• bonding various wooden boards, panels, laminated products, veneers, etc.,
• manufacturing laminated panels,
• bonding insulating materials including polystyrene,
• bonding wooden structural elements,
• manufacturing window and door frames, which are expected,
• to have such exposure to moisture (exterior) that they must be constructed in class water resistance D4 according to EN 204.

Substrates:

Suitable substrates: various absorbent and non-absorbent materials, such as wood, bricks, concrete, etc., unsuitable for PE and PP. Condition of the substrate: clean, free from dust and grease. Surface preparation: dampening the substrates increases the curing speed and improves the filling capacity by foaming the adhesive. It is always recommended to conduct a test of adhesion and compatibility (mutual tolerance of materials).

Working procedure:

Application: Apply in dots or strips using a manual or pneumatic applicator. No later than 15 min. connect the glued parts and keep them pressed for about 3 hours. Pressing the glued materials during curing is necessary to achieve maximum bond strength. Working temperature: +5 °C to +35 °C. Cleaning: White Spirit (paint thinner) or acetone before the adhesive cures. Cured adhesive can only be cleaned mechanically. Repairs: Construction adhesive 60A.

• P302+P352: IF ON SKIN: Wash with plenty of soap and water
• P304+P340: IF INHALED: Move person to fresh air and keep comfortable for breathing.
• P305+P351+P338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing.
• P337+P313: If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention.
• P501: Dispose of contents/container in accordance with the product instructions.
