Apeko V1306 is a liquid wallpaper glue for sticking reflective, paper, and PVC wallpapers with a paper backing in interiors on wood, metal, concrete, plaster, agglomerated wood materials, and similar substrates. The glue can also be used as a liquid adhesive for painting preparations.
For gluing reflective, paper, and PVC wallpapers with a paper backing in interiors on wood, metal, concrete, plaster, agglomerated wood materials, and similar substrates. At least one of the glued materials or substrates must be absorbent. The glue can also be used as a liquid adhesive for painting preparations.
On wood, metal, concrete, plaster, agglomerated wood materials, and similar substrates. At least one of the glued materials or substrates must be absorbent.
Brush, roller.
5 to 7 m²/kg.
Wallpaper glue is diluted with water. For substrate penetration 1:3, for paper wallpapers 2:1, for PVC wallpapers 3:1, for reflective wallpapers it is not diluted.
Before applying the wallpaper, it is necessary to remove dust, loose particles, and grease from all surfaces. Any existing old coatings in larger layers must be scraped off. Highly absorbent and crumbling surfaces need to be pre-primed with a suitable primer such as BARLET, SOICRAT, or diluted APEKO glue (1 part glue diluted with 3 parts water).
Depending on the type of wallpaper, Apeko wallpaper glue should be diluted with clean water before use. Water should be added gradually while continuously mixing: paper wallpapers (2:1 with water, i.e., dilute 1 kg of glue with 0.5 liters of water), PVC wallpapers (3:1 with water, i.e., dilute 1 kg of glue with 0.33 liters of water), for reflective wallpapers the glue is not diluted.
After thorough mixing, the wallpaper glue is applied with a brush or roller to the center of the prepared wallpaper strip and spread to the sides. Immediately before gluing, the glue is also applied to the edge areas of the substrate. The strips are then glued from the top down. The wallpaper must be pressed against the substrate with a brush, sponge, or roller from top to bottom and to the sides. All tools and any dirty areas should be rinsed immediately with water.
The wallpapers are cut to the required length before gluing. They are soaked in water for 3–10 minutes. The Apeko V 1306 is applied to the prepared substrate, and after 2 minutes the gluing starts. The wallpapers are glued from top to bottom and smoothed with a soft brush, sponge, or rubber roller; excess glue is removed with a damp sponge or cloth. The glued wallpapers can be gently washed after 5 days (if they are lacquered) with lukewarm water mixed with detergent. The temperature of the substrate and the environment must not be lower than +10 °C during application.
