The liquid w wallpaper glueApeko V1306 is used for gluing paper, reflective, and PVC wallpapers with a paper backing indoors on plaster, concrete, wood, metal, engineered wood materials, and similar substrates. The glue can also be used as a liquid sizing for painting preparations.

Designed for gluing paper, reflective, and PVC wallpapers with a paper backing in indoor spaces on plaster, concrete, metal, wood, engineered wood materials, and similar substrates. A requirement is that at least one of the materials being glued or the substrate is absorbent. The product can also be used as a liquid sizing for painting preparations.

Dilution of wallpaper glue:

Wallpaper glue is diluted with water. For priming the substrate 1:3, for paper wallpapers 2:1, for PVC wallpapers 3:1, for reflective wallpapers do not dilute.

Procedure for applying Apeko wallpaper glue:

Before applying the wallpapers, all surfaces must be free of dust, loose particles, and grease. Any old coatings in thicker layers must be scraped off. Particularly absorbent and crumbling surfaces should be pre-treated with a suitable primer, e.g., BARLET, SOICRAT, or diluted APEKO glue (1 part glue diluted with 3 parts water).

Depending on the type of wallpaper, the Apeko wallpaper glue should be diluted with clean water before use. Water is added gradually while stirring continuously: paper wallpapers (2:1 with water, i.e., dilute 1 kg of glue with 0.5 liters of water), PVC wallpapers (3:1 with water, i.e., dilute 1 kg of glue with 0.33 liters of water), for reflective wallpapers the glue is not diluted.

After thorough mixing, the wallpaper glue is applied with a brush or roller to the center of the prepared wallpaper strip and spread to the sides. Immediately before gluing, glue is applied to the edge areas of the substrate. Then the strips are glued from top to bottom. The wallpaper must be pressed to the substrate using a brush, sponge, or roller moving downwards and to the sides. All tools and any soiled areas should be washed immediately with water.

Actual wallpapering:

The wallpapers should be cut to the required length before gluing. They are soaked in water for 3–10 minutes. The Apeko V 1306 is applied to the prepared substrate, and after 2 minutes, the gluing begins. The wallpapers are glued from top to bottom and smoothed with a soft brush, sponge, or rubber roller; excess glue is removed with a damp sponge or cloth. Wallpapers glued in this manner can be lightly washed after 5 days (if they are coated) with lukewarm water mixed with detergent. The temperature of the substrate and the surrounding environment must not be lower than +10 °C during application.
