Apeko V1306 is a liquid wallpaper glue for gluing reflective, paper, and PVC wallpapers with a paper backing in interiors on wood, metal, concrete, plaster, engineered wood materials, and similar substrates. The glue can also be used as a liquid sizing agent for painting preparations.
For gluing reflective, paper, and PVC wallpapers with a paper backing in interiors on wood, metal, concrete, plaster, engineered wood materials, and similar substrates. At least one of the glued materials or substrates must be absorbent. The glue can also be used as a liquid sizing agent for painting preparations.
On wood, metal, concrete, plaster, engineered wood materials, and similar substrates. At least one of the glued materials or substrates must be absorbent.
Brush, roller.
5 to 7 m²/kg.
Wallpaper glue is diluted with water. For substrate penetration 1:3, for paper wallpapers 2:1, for PVC wallpapers 3:1, for reflective wallpapers do not dilute.
Before gluing the wallpaper, all surfaces must be cleaned of dust, loose particles, and grease. Any old coatings in larger layers must be scraped off. Significantly absorbent and crumbling surfaces must be pre-penetrated with a suitable primer such as BARLET, SOICRAT, or diluted APEKO glue (1 part glue diluted with 3 parts water).
Depending on the type of wallpaper, Apeko wallpaper glue is diluted with clean water before use. Water is added gradually while constantly mixing: paper wallpapers (2:1 with water, i.e., 1 kg of glue diluted with 0.5 liters of water), PVC wallpapers (3:1 with water, i.e., 1 kg of glue diluted with 0.33 liters of water), for reflective wallpapers the glue is not diluted.
After thorough mixing, the wallpaper glue is applied with a brush or roller to the center of the strip of prepared wallpaper and spread to the sides. Immediately before gluing, the glue is applied to the edge areas of the substrate. Subsequently, the strips are glued from top to bottom. The wallpaper must be pressed against the substrate with a brush, sponge, or roller moving downwards and to the sides. All tools and any soiled areas should be rinsed immediately with water.
The wallpapers are cut to the required length before gluing. They are soaked in water for 3–10 minutes. Apeko V 1306 is applied to the prepared substrate, and after 2 minutes, gluing begins. The wallpapers are glued from top to bottom and smoothed with a soft brush, sponge, or rubber roller, excess glue is removed with a damp sponge or cloth. The glued wallpapers can be gently washed after 5 days (if they are varnished) with lukewarm water with a detergent additive. The substrate and ambient temperature must not be less than +10 °C during application.
