
APEKO D2 is a universal water-based adhesive for wood with an extended setting time, quick drying, forming highly durable elastic joints. It is designed for bonding soft and hardwood, especially wood veneers, plywood, particle board, paper, cardboard, edge gluing, and joinery and assembly joints. It is also applicable in modeling or packaging technology for flat pressed glues and interiors for waterproof bonding according to resistance class D2. Surfaces and joints glued with APEKO D2 do not dull the blades of machines used in the woodworking or furniture industry.

The dispersive adhesive finds its use, for example, in furniture gluing, in the paper industry, or during assembly work. After curing, you can rely on a transparent and flexible joint that is resistant to occasional water exposure. It does not contain phthalates or solvents. The adhesive is mixable with water.
The surfaces to be bonded must be cohesive, free of grease and dust. The adhesive is ready in application consistency; it can be diluted with water up to 5% by volume. The adhesive is applied in a normal thickness to both bonded surfaces, which are then pressed with a weight of 0.5 kg/cm2 after the adhesive has set.
Store tightly closed in a dry, well-ventilated place at temperatures of 5 – 25 °C. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
The product is not classified as hazardous to health. The adhesive must not come into contact with food! Follow basic hygiene rules when working! Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, reaction mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 220-239-6] (3:1). In case of contact with eyes: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, including under the eyelids. Remove contact lenses. In case of accidental ingestion: Drink a small amount of room temperature water (up to 0.2 l for an adult). Turn the affected person who is vomiting to a stable side position. Do not give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Do not induce vomiting.
