Description APEKO D2 Water-Resistant Glue for Wood and Absorbent Materials, 500 g
The universal water-soluble glue for wood APEKO D2 offers a longer open time for fixing, dries quickly, and creates a highly strong, elastic joint. It is designed for bonding both hardwood and softwood, particularly wooden veneers, plywood, chipboard materials, paper, cardboard, laminates, as well as for carpentry and assembly joints. It is also used in flat pressed bonding in modeling or packaging technology and for water-resistant bonding indoors according to resistance class D2. Bonded surfaces and joints with APEKO D2 glue do not dull the edges of cutting tools in the wood processing and furniture industry.
Achieve great results in your work with the D2 profi dispersion glue, which is an ideal choice especially for professionals. It easily and quickly bonds wood and paper. This dispersion glue is used in furniture manufacturing, assembly, and in the paper industry. After curing, it guarantees a flexible and transparent joint, which can withstand occasional contact with water. It contains no solvents or phthalates and is water-soluble.

Instructions for use:
The surfaces to be glued must be cohesive, free from grease and dust. The glue is ready for application consistency, and it can be diluted with water up to 5% of the volume. The glue is applied in a normal thickness to both glued surfaces, which are weighted after the glue has set with a weight of 0.5 kg/cm2.
Storage stability:
Store well closed in a dry, well-ventilated place at temperatures of 5 – 25 °C. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
Safety and health warning:
The product is not classified as hazardous to health. The glue must not come into contact with food! Follow basic hygiene rules when working! Contains 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, reaction mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 247-500-7] and 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [EC number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic reaction. May cause an allergic reaction.
If it gets into the eyes: Rinse carefully with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, including under the eyelids. Remove contact lenses. If swallowed accidentally: drink a small amount of room temperature water (up to 0.2 l for an adult). Turn the affected vomiting person into a stable side position. Never give anything by mouth to persons who are unconscious. Do not induce vomiting.
