APEKO D3 is a universal water-soluble glue for wood creating high-strength elastic joints. It is intended for gluing wooden furniture (also for outdoor use), floating floors with tongue and groove joints, parquet, and hardwood from both domestic and exotic species. Very suitable for the manufacture of outdoor windows and doors with waterproofing according to class D3 (for outdoor use without permanent contact with water). Areas and joints glued with APEKO D3 do not dull the cutting edges of woodworking machines used in the wood processing or furniture industry.
The glue has good moisture resistance and is particularly suitable for gluing windows, doors, kitchen cabinets, wooden, parquet, and laminate floors, surface veneering, joints (tongue-groove), and doweling. The glue can be used for soft and hard wood, veneers, particle board, pulp, paper, and other materials for both manual (brush, roller, comb, applicator) and machine (roller, nozzle, applicator) application.
Glued surfaces must be cohesive, free of grease and dust. The glue is prepared at an application consistency and can be diluted with water up to 5% by volume. The glue is applied in a normal thickness on both glued surfaces with a brush or a notched trowel, which should be weighted down with a weight of 0.5 kg/cm2 after slight skinning. For gluing tongue and groove joints, it is equipped with an applicator.
Store well closed in a dry, well-ventilated place at temperatures of 5 – 25 °C. Do not expose to direct sunlight.
The product is not classified as hazardous to health. The glue must not come into contact with food! When working, observe basic hygiene rules! Contains a reactive mixture: 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 247-500-7] 2-methylisothiazol-3(2H)-one [ES number 220-239-6] (3:1). May cause an allergic reaction.
