DENAS Ostafix N adhesive for all types of substrates, white, 290 ml

DENAS OSTAFIX N is a thin-layer universal adhesive with high adhesion, intended for bonding ceramic tiles, tiles, ceilings, cladding boards and strips made of expanded polystyrene and polyurethane, wood, mirrors, glass, PVC, rubber floor coverings, plaster casts and claddings. A condition for a strong bond is that one of the bonded surfaces be a cohesive absorbent material, such as concrete, plaster, aerated concrete, and especially panel construction materials such as fiber cement and cement particle boards, drywall, particle boards, but also umakart boards, e.g. prefabricated housing cores, and other building materials. OSTAFIX N can also be used to seal joints and cracks in the substrate before painting.

Composition (general):

Adhesive based on water-acrylate dispersion, containing binders based on water-acrylate dispersion, fine fillers, pigments, dispersing agents, and modifying additives

Application procedure for DENAS installation adhesive:

The substrate must be solid, dry, and free of dirt and grease. Absorbent substrates are treated with the DENAS DEEP PENETRATION primer. Before bonding to older plasters, it is necessary to remove layers of paint, then thoroughly dust and prime. Solid and non-absorbent substrates need only be perfectly cleaned and degreased. The surface does not need to be primed.

OSTAFIX N is applied to the substrate with a notched trowel with tooth heights of 3-7 mm. The tooth height is determined by the flatness of the substrate and the format of the cladding material so that after placing the cladding into the adhesive layer and subsequently removing it, an imprint of the adhesive must be clearly visible on the entire backside of the bonded material. The adhesive is applied to such an area that can be covered with cladding material within 10 minutes. The cladding is pressed into the adhesive layer, and with pressure or tapping, it is positioned in the desired place. Ceramic tiles should not be wetted before bonding! In the case of bonding polystyrene ceilings and cladding, full-surface bonding is not necessary; the adhesive is usually applied pointwise or in strips at the edges and in the middle of the cladding boards. The temperature during bonding and drying of the adhesive must not fall below 15 °C.

Consumption: 0.3–1.5 kg/m² depending on the type and quality of the substrate and bonded materials.

Prevent release into the environment. Dispose of contents/container by handing over to an authorized person for waste disposal or returning it to the supplier. H412 - Harmful to aquatic organisms, with long-lasting effects.

Safety and hygiene:

Observe personal hygiene practices. In case of skin contact, wash the affected area with water and soap. In case of eye contact, rinse with water. If swallowed, rinse mouth with water; do not induce vomiting. In case of health issues, seek medical attention.

Waste disposal:

Remnants of paint and contaminated containers should be disposed of as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable legislation. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened container for at least up to the date indicated on the cap/lid.
