DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0250 palisander, 5 kg

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a water-based top coat paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with silane additives, drywall. It meets the surface finish standards for products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, Part 3) and is suitable for food contact. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and demonstrate a long lifespan indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, Part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as stipulated by MZ ČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in its valid wording for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures ensuring the conformity of the product marketed with technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD anti-corrosive primer or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then apply the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For exterior wood, we recommend protection to the depth with a suitable impregnator with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by applying 1–2 layers of a penetrating agent and then the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature during application and drying of the coating is +10 °C with an air humidity of up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations that would require immediate medical assistance. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles during work. Ensure proper ventilation of the workspace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water.

Disposal of waste:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened packaging for at least the date indicated on the lid/cap.
