DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0250 rosewood, 5 kg

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, fresh galvanized sheet, galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, some types of plastics, fiberboard, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, plasterboard. It meets the standard for surface coatings of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings exhibit excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to UV radiation and weather conditions, and are resistant to the action of cleaning agents commonly used in households. The coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and show a long lifespan in both interior and exterior applications.

The product is safe under conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as established by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures ensuring that the product placed on the market is in compliance with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certifications when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of old paints, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1–2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS METAL 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. For wooden substrates, first equalize with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the absorption of the wood. Then apply the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. We recommend protecting exterior wood to a depth with a suitable wood preservative with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by applying a primer in 1–2 layers and then the top coating with DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coat is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.
