DENAS UNIVERZÁL MAT is a top water-dilutable paint for coating construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, and do not become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weathering; they are resistant to household cleaning agents. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit long durability in both interior and exterior applications.

See Declaration of Conformity. The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, set by Regulation of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market is in accordance with technical documentation and basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of the certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.
Procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 layers of the corrosion-resistant primer DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply the topcoat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 layers. Uniformize wooden substrates first with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted DENAS UNIVERZÁL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top layer with undiluted paint in 1-2 layers. We recommend protecting exterior wood to a depth with a suitable wood preservative with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by applying 1-2 layers of primer and then top coating with DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:
Under normal use, there are no situations that would require immediate medical attention. Recommendations: Adhere to personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure proper ventilation in the workplace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. If contact with eyes occurs, rinse with water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened packaging for at least up to the date shown on the cap/lid.
