DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0240 dark brown, 5 kg

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a water-soluble top coat for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, mortars, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with silane addition, gypsum board. It complies with the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk or become brittle due to UV radiation and weather conditions, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. The coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and show a long service life both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under specified usage conditions and meets the hygienic requirements for toys and products for children under the age of 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Attachment No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets the hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water as stipulated by Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in its current wording for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and with the basic requirements. The validity of attestations is not guaranteed when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1–2 layers of corrosion-resistant base DENAS ON METAL-BASE or DENAS ON METALS 2 IN 1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. First, unify wooden substrates with DENAS ON WOOD-BASE or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, and apply in 1–2 layers according to the absorbency of the wood. Then carry out the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For wood in outdoor environments, we recommend protecting it to depth with a suitable primer with biocidal effects. For mineral substrates, provide protection with a coating in 1–2 layers of a penetrating agent followed by the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying is +10 °C and air humidity should be up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of the paint for wood and metal:

Under normal usage conditions, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paints and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened container for at least until the date indicated on the lid.
