DENAS UNIVERSAL is a top water-dilutable paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle under the influence of UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit a long lifespan both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under the age of 3 (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in force for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure that the product placed on the market is in accordance with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates during tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, loose layers of older coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1–2 layers of DENAS ANTICORROSIVE BASE or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. First, treat wooden substrates with DENAS WOOD BASE or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1–2 layers depending on the absorptivity of the wood. Then apply the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. We recommend protecting wood outdoors to a depth with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by applying a penetrating agent in 1–2 layers, followed by the top coating paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature during the application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendation: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure proper ventilation of the workplace. Use respiratory protection when applying by spraying. In case of eye contact, rinse with running water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of paint residues and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with current regulations. The product retains its useful properties in its original unopened container at least until the date indicated on the lid/
