DENAS UNIVERZÁL is a water-dilutable top coat for coatings of structural elements and constructions made of wood, metal, concrete blocks, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminated board, ceramic tiles with a silane additive, gypsum board. It complies with the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to the influence of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and demonstrate long durability indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and at the same time fulfills hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as defined by Decree of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has adopted measures to ensure that the product marketed complies with the technical documentation and essential requirements. The validity of certifications is not guaranteed when tinted outside the manufacturer's premises.
Application procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, weakly adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 coats of anti-corrosion primer DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1, then apply top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should be initially unified with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERZÁL in a 1:1 ratio with water, applied in 1–2 layers considering the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For outdoor wood, we recommend protection to a suitable depth with a wood preservative with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coat in 1–2 layers of penetrating agent and subsequently top coat with DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coat is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:
Under typical usage, there are no situations requiring immediate medical attention. Recommendations: Observe personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workplace. When applying by spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened container for a minimum until the date indicated on the cap.
