DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0220 light brown, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT represents a top water-based paint designed for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal, and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, selected types of plastics, chipboard, ceramic tiles with a silane additive and drywall. It complies with the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The created coating features high resistance, does not become brittle or chalky due to weather conditions or UV radiation, and withstands the action of cleaning agents used in households. Treated surfaces show extreme mechanical resistance and long durability both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygienic requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as established by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has adopted measures to ensure the compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and with the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when toning outside the manufacturer’s facility.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from impurities, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 coats of anticorrosive primer DENAS ON METAL-PRIMER or DENAS ON METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS ON WOOD-PRIMER or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1–2 layers considering the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For wood in outdoor use, we recommend protecting it deeply with a suitable wood preservative with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a coat of primer in 1–2 layers and subsequently with the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.
