DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0100 white, 5 kg

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a water-based top coat for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. Coatings exhibit excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. The painted surfaces are extremely resistant to mechanical stress and have a long lifespan in both interior and exterior applications.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as stipulated by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. The validity of the test reports is not guaranteed when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free from dirt, loose layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1–2 layers of DENAS NA KOV-ZÁKLAD or DENAS NA KOVY 2V1 anticorrosive primer, then apply the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coat in 1–2 layers. Wood substrates should first be unified with DENAS NA DŘEVO-ZÁKLAD or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, applied in 1–2 layers depending on the absorption of the wood. After that, perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For outdoor wood, it is recommended to protect it with an appropriate impregnator with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a penetrating agent in 1–2 layers and subsequently with the DENAS UNIVERSAL top coating in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of the paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use, situations requiring immediate medical assistance do not occur. Recommendations: Maintain personal hygiene practices while working. Ensure proper ventilation in the workplace. Use respiratory protection when spraying. In case of eye contact, rinse with running water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in its original unopened packaging for at least until the date indicated on the lid.
