DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, certain types of plastics, chipboard, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface finishes for products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle under the influence of UV radiation and weather, are resistant to household cleaning agents. Painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit long durability indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets the hygienic requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets the hygienic requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as established by MZ ČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the compliance of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and with the essential requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinted outside the manufacturer's facility.
Application procedure:
The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, loose layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1–2 layers of the anticorrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, and this in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. Outdoor wood is recommended to be protected to a depth with suitable wood preservatives with biocidal effects. For mineral substrates apply a primer in 1–2 layers and then the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature during application and drying is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of wood and metal paint:
In normal use, there are no situations requiring immediate medical attention. Recommendations: Follow personal hygiene principles when working. Ensure proper ventilation of the work area. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.
Disposal of waste:
Dispose of paint residues and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened packaging for at least until the date indicated on the lid.

VOC content in the product in ready-to-use condition (g/l): 52.
