DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0440 blue, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coating construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roof tiles, aluminum, certain types of plastics, hardboard, ceramic tiles with added silane, gypsum board. It complies with the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to exposure to UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit a long service life in both indoor and outdoor environments.

The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children aged up to 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by MZČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure that the product placed on the market is in accordance with the technical documentation and fundamental requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinted outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1–2 layers of anti-corrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, applied in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. It is recommended to protect wood in outdoor applications to the depth with a suitable impregnant with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates by applying 1–2 layers of penetrating agent and subsequently the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.

Safety and hygiene of paint for wood and metal:

Under normal use conditions, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendations: Follow personal hygiene principles while working. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. When spraying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Disposal of waste:

Dispose of leftover paints and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in the original unopened packaging for at least until the date indicated on the lid.
