DENAS UNIVERZÁL-GLOSS top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0610 cream, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERZÁL is a top water-based paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal as well as galvanized roofing sheets, aluminum, some types of plastics, chipboard, ceramic tiles with an addition of silane, drywall. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent durability, do not chalk or become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weather, and are resistant to household cleaning agents. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit long-lasting durability in both interior and exterior applications.

The product is safe under specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years of age (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by Regulation of the Ministry of Health No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for the white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has taken measures to ensure the conformity of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and with the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application Procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 coats of the anti-corrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2 IN 1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1–2 layers. For wooden substrates, first, unify with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERZÁL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, in 1–2 layers taking into account the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. Wood in the exterior is recommended to be protected to a depth with a suitable wood preservative with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with 1–2 layers of penetrative medium followed by the top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature during application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.
