DENAS UNIVERZÁL-MAT top coat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0199 black, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERZÁL MAT is a top, water-dilutable paint designed for coatings of building elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal, as well as galvanized roofing templates, aluminum, selected types of plastics, laminate, drywall, and ceramic tiles with a silane additive. It complies with the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is also suitable for contact with food. The resulting coating has excellent durability, does not become brittle or chalky due to UV radiation or weather influences, and withstands household cleaning agents well. Treated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and have a long lifespan in both indoor and outdoor environments.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, item 12, and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by MZ ČR Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures to ensure that the product placed on the market complies with the technical documentation and with the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's facility.

Work procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of dirt, non-adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2IN1 FOR METALS, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERZÁL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, applied in 1–2 layers depending on the wood absorbency. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. For outdoor wood, it is recommended to protect it with a suitable impregnator with biocidal effects. Protection of mineral substrates should be done with a primer in 1–2 layers and subsequently with the top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.
