DENAS UNIVERSAL-MAT topcoat for wood, metal, and concrete, 0840 red-brown, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL MAT is a top water-based paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, freshly galvanized sheet metal and galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, some types of plastics, melamine, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, plasterboard. It meets the standard for surface finishes of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk or become brittle due to UV radiation and weather influence, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. The coated surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit long durability both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of intended use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, section 12 and also meets the hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, set by Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in the valid wording for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has adopted measures to ensure the conformity of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and essential requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinted outside the manufacturer's site.

Application procedure:

The surface must be dry, free from dirt, non-adhering layers of old coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1–2 layers of DENAS ANTI-CORROSIVE BASE or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS WOOD BASE or diluted DENAS UNIVERSAL paint in a 1:1 ratio with water, applying in 1–2 layers depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. It is recommended to protect wood in exterior applications with a suitable wood impregnant with biocidal effects. Protect mineral substrates with a penetrating agent in 1–2 layers and then with the top coating paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70 %.
