DENAS UNIVERSAL-GLOSS top coat for wood, metal and concrete, 0199 black, 700 g

DENAS UNIVERSAL is a water-dilutable top coat for construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, building materials, fresh galvanized sheet metal, galvanized roofing tiles, aluminum, some types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with silane additive, gypsum board. It meets the standard for surface treatments of products and toys for children aged 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to UV radiation and weather influences, and are resistant to cleaning agents used in households. Coated surfaces are extremely mechanically durable and exhibit long-lasting performance both indoors and outdoors.

The product is safe under the conditions of designated use and meets the hygiene requirements for toys and products for children under the age of 3 years (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Annex No. 2, III. Chemical substances, item 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, established by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., as amended for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has adopted measures that ensure the conformity of the product placed on the market with the technical documentation and the basic requirements. It does not guarantee the validity of certificates when tinting outside the manufacturer's premises.

Application procedure:

The substrate must be dry, free of impurities, loose layers of old coatings, and grease. New metal surfaces should be protected with 1–2 coats of anti-corrosive primer DENAS FOR METAL-PRIMER or DENAS FOR METALS 2IN1, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. Wooden substrates should first be unified with DENAS FOR WOOD-PRIMER or diluted paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1–2 layers considering the absorbency of the wood. Then, perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1–2 layers. Wood in outdoor environments is recommended to be protected to depth with a suitable impregnating agent with biocidal effects. The protection of mineral substrates should be performed by applying a penetrating agent in 1–2 layers followed by the top coating paint DENAS UNIVERSAL in 1–2 layers. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and relative humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of the paint for wood and metal:

In normal use, there are no situations requiring immediate medical assistance. Recommendations: When working, observe personal hygiene principles. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. When spray applying, use respiratory protection. In case of eye contact, rinse with water.

Waste disposal:

Dispose of leftover paint and contaminated packaging as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its utility properties in the original unopened packaging for at least until the date indicated on the cap/lid.
