Self-priming multifunctional synthetic paint. Base and top anti-corrosive satin paint for metal.
CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:
Single-layer satin paint combining the properties of a base anti-corrosive coating, intermediate layer, and simultaneously a top coat. It is intended for direct application on metals in outdoor and indoor environments. The paint for metal is ideal for coatings of steel materials, oxidized and freshly galvanized surfaces such as roofs, metal structures, masts, fences, poles, gates, etc. The metal paint can also be used for coating absorbent substrates such as wood and particle board. The Teflon contained in the paint creates a non-wettable layer on the surface of the coating, which prevents dirt, atmospheric deposits, and water from sticking and affecting the coated surface. Therefore, the HOSTAGRUND 3v1 PRIM coating exhibits long durability, excellent weather resistance, and perfect barrier protection. It is available in a wide range of shades, and those who prefer a custom shade have a tint base available to achieve an additional 5 thousand shades.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
The substrate for application must be clean, dry, free from grease, loose rust, and dust, mechanically cleaned. First of all, the surface must be degreased using a suitable cleaning agent (e.g., BALTECH P6402 TECHNICAL BENZINE, BALTECH P6401 ACETONE, or where possible, hot high-pressure water with detergent). To remove any residual salts, the surface must be subsequently rinsed with clean water. Coarse and well-adhered dirt must be removed manually or mechanically (by sanding or scraping). Any loose rust can also be removed manually or mechanically (using metal brushes or abrasive discs).
Pre-treatment of the surface of freshly galvanized sheets before painting: prepare a mixture of 10 l of water, 0.5 l of ammonia water (25% solution) and about 50 ml of wetting agent (detergent). This solution is applied to the treated sheet and, after about 10 minutes of action, is spread, for example, with a synthetic fleece cloth on a handle, until a metallic gray foam is formed. Followed by a thorough rinse with clean water. The paint is applied after the sheet has completely dried. It is necessary to first saturate absorbent substrates with a suitable saturator that ensures uniform absorption of the substrate. Previously painted surfaces must be cleaned, degreased, and stripped of old non-adhering coatings.
Dilution: BALTECH S6006
Theoretical coverage: 10 - 12 m²/ l for one coat
WORKING PROCEDURE:
The paint is applied to the pre-prepared substrate. Before use, the paint is diluted with BALTECH S6006 thinner as needed and thoroughly mixed. It is applied in 2 to 3 layers depending on the expected environmental demands. The interval for applying individual layers is at least 24 hours. The recommended thickness of one dry layer is 30 – 40 µm. Shades 0912 aluminum and 0970 copper can be applied with a brush and roller only without the claim for aesthetic appearance. These shades are mainly intended for spray application.

Používejte ochranné rukavice / ochranný oděv / ochranné brýle / obličejový štít. Při styku s kůží: omyjte velkým množstvím vody a mýdla. Při zasažení očí: několik minut opatrně vyplachujte vodou. Vyjměte kontaktní čočky, jsou-li nasazeny, a pokud je lze vyjmout snadno. Pokračujte ve vyplachování. Při používání tohoto výrobku nejezte, nepijte ani nekuřte. Uchovávejte mimo dosah dětí.
