Penetral ALP is suitable for priming dry and cleaned substrates under asphalt insulating coverings and insulations. It serves as a primer under asphalt insulating coverings and insulations; when used alone, it is not directly resistant to weather and moisture, penetrating deeply into the substrate, ensuring a strong bond with other layers, and can be used on concrete, metal, and masonry.
Usage:
Asphalt primer lacquers are used for saturating dry and roughly cleaned cement-concrete or plaster substrates under bitumen insulating coverings and bitumen insulations. After application, they penetrate deeply into the pores, thus creating a strong bond between the substrate and the subsequent bitumen insulation layer. Asphalt primer lacquers are not weather- or moisture-resistant, so they are not suitable for surface treatments. When used alone, they do not create a waterproof layer. ALP-M contains asphalt with thermoplastic rubber and an adhesive additive that ensures good adhesion even to damp substrates. It is primarily intended for priming substrates under modified asphalt sheets and on wet substrates.
Processing:
asphalt primer lacquer is processed cold. A brush or roofing brush is used for application. Spraying or dipping is possible. Before use, it is important to thoroughly mix the contents. Consumption depends on the method of use: 0.3 kg/m2.
