DENAS UNIVERZÁL MAT is a top water-soluble paint for coatings of construction elements and structures made of wood, metal, raw zinc sheet, and galvanized roofing templates, aluminum, certain types of plastics, laminate, ceramic tiles with the addition of silane, drywall. It meets the surface treatment standards of products and toys for children from 0-3 years (ČSN EN 71, part 3) and is suitable for contact with food. The coatings have excellent resistance, do not chalk, nor become brittle due to the effects of UV radiation and weathering, and are resistant to the cleaning agents used in households. The painted surfaces are extremely mechanically resistant and exhibit a long lifespan in both interior and exterior applications.

See Declaration of Conformity. The product is safe under the specified conditions of use and meets hygiene requirements for toys and products for children up to 3 years old (according to EN 71, part 3), Government Regulation No. 86/2011 Coll., Appendix No. 2, III. Chemical substances, point 12 and also meets hygiene requirements for products intended for contact with food and drinking water, as stipulated by Ministry of Health Regulation No. 38/2001 Coll., in valid form for white base. DENAS COLOR a.s. has implemented measures ensuring compliance of the product placed on the market with technical documentation and basic requirements. Does not guarantee the validity of certificates when toning outside the manufacturer's premises.
Procedure:
The substrate must be dry, clean of dirt, not adhering layers of older coatings, and grease. Protect new metal surfaces with 1-2 coats of DENAS ANTI-CORROSION PRIMER or DENAS 2IN1 FOR METALS, then apply the top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 coats. For wooden substrates, first unify with DENAS WOOD PRIMER or diluted DENAS UNIVERZÁL paint in a ratio of 1:1 with water, in 1-2 coats depending on the absorbency of the wood. Then perform the top coat with undiluted paint in 1-2 coats. It is recommended to protect outdoor wood to a depth with an appropriate biocidal impregnation. Protect mineral substrates with a primer in 1-2 coats followed by top coat DENAS UNIVERZÁL in 1-2 coats. The minimum temperature for application and drying of the coating is +10 °C and air humidity up to 70%.

Safety and hygiene of wood and metal paint:
In normal use, there are no situations where immediate medical assistance would be necessary. Recommendation: Observe personal hygiene rules while working. Ensure ventilation of the workspace. Use respiratory protection when spraying. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
Waste disposal:
Dispose of leftover paints and contaminated containers as hazardous waste in accordance with applicable regulations. The product retains its useful properties in its original unopened container at least until the date marked on the lid.
