Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T023 teak, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is designed for protective staining of soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, priming of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deeply into the structure of the wood and emphasizes its grain. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 -natural is intended only for interior use!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, priming of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be free of all resin exudations beforehand, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood surface finish and also the overall durability of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be treated with a suitable fungicidal primer, which protects the wood against mold, fungi, and insects, for example, with LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should first be treated with the colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Priming with the colorless primer ensures uniform absorption of the substrate before further application of coatings. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper and only then is the penetrating stain applied. When applying renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of the old non-adhering layer, for example by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one coat depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already at application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly mix the stain. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 layers, for outdoor coatings it is advisable to use three layers, but only in colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for coatings in interiors. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly emphasize the grain of the wood, it is appropriate to wipe off the unabsorbed stain after 10 to 15 minutes of application with a dry brush or cloth.

Always use material from one production batch for complete surfaces. When using the same production batch, the same color shade is guaranteed. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood influence the resulting shade of the coating, so we recommend performing a test coating before final application. Complaints about color shades will only be accepted with the complaint of the test area.

For a high gloss finish, dried coatings made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of the stain LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALK-ON VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they may spontaneously ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
