Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective stain coatings of soft and hardwood, exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deeply into the wood structure and emphasizes its texture. It provides long-lasting protection of wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudates, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The wood surface intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal impregnator, which ensures protection against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., with the product LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The wood surface intended for indoor use is recommended to be first impregnated with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetration with a colorless impregnator ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before applying coating materials. Subsequently, it is necessary to sand the wood surface with fine sandpaper and then apply the impregnating stain. In the case of renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of old non-adhering layers, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical yield: 13-15 m²/l for one layer, depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on a pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already at application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly stir the staining varnish. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 layers, for outdoor coatings it is advisable to use three layers, but only in colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for interior coatings. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To evenly emphasize the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off unabsorbed varnish after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

Always use material from the same production batch for uniform areas. Using material from the same batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating, so we recommend performing a test coat before the final application. Claims for color shades will only be recognized if based on a complaint from a test area.

For a high gloss finish, it is possible to overcoat the dried stain made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of the LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKING VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (cloths, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they can ignite spontaneously under certain conditions.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
