Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T022 rosewood, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is designed for protective staining of soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for interior coatings (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oils, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the structure of the wood and accentuates its texture. It provides long-term protection of wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are color-fast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 -natural is intended for indoor use only!!

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be free of all resin exudates, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment determines the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal impregnator that protects the wood against mold, fungi, and insects, such as LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. For indoor use, it is advisable to first impregnate with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetrating with a colorless impregnator ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before further applications of coatings. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper, and only then should the impregnating stain be applied. In renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer of paint, for example, by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l per coat depending on the absorbency of the substrate

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on a pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already at application viscosity. During work, the staining lacquer must be regularly mixed. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 coats, while for outdoor applications, it is advisable to use three coats, but only in colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for use in interiors. Subsequent coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. For uniform enhancement of the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off any excess lacquer after 10 to 15 minutes using a dry brush or cloth.

Always use material from the same production batch for cohesive surfaces. The same color shade is guaranteed when using the same production batch. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating, so we recommend performing a test coat before final application. Color complaints will only be accepted upon claiming the test area.

For a high gloss finish, the dried coat applied with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or with the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, paper, dust, etc.) soaked with the stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Colored shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
