LAZUROL S1119 varnish is intended for decorative coatings of wooden building elements exposed to moisture and water.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE: 

The varnish is designed for decorative glossy coatings of wooden building elements, and is highly resistant to moisture and water. It features excellent workability, long-term protection against weather influences, and a stable gloss. The varnish especially highlights the grain of the wood. It is suitable for coatings of garden furniture, sports equipment, cork, wall paneling in both interior and exterior.

PASSWORD PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with a higher resin content (larch, pine) must be free of any resin exudates in advance, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood preparation affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the entire lifespan of the coating system.
The surface of the wood must first be impregnated with a suitable impregnator that ensures even absorbency of the substrate and higher protection of the wood (if a fungicidal impregnator is used, it also protects against fungal, mold and insect attacks). Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper and then the synthetic varnish should be applied.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (brush, roller), thinner BALTECH S6001 (spraying)

Theoretical yield: 14 - 17 m²/ l for one coat

WORKING PROCEDURE:

It is applied with a brush, roller, or by spraying after thorough stirring on the pre-prepared substrate.
Wood coating
1. 1 coat of LAZUROL CLASSIC S 1023 glazing or fungicidal impregnant LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033
2. 2 coats of LAZUROL BOAT VARNISH S1119. The second and further coats with varnish can be applied after 24 hours. The optimal thickness of one coat is 25-30 µm.
