Lazurol S1119 marine varnish resistant wood varnish clear, matt 750 ml

The product treated with a matte varnish, suitable for both interior and exterior use, acquires an elegant and sophisticated SATIN FINISH, whose surface is very pleasant to the touch. The matte varnish is available in the same packaging variants as its glossy version.

LAZUROL S1119 varnish is intended for decorative coatings of wooden building elements exposed to moisture and water.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

The varnish is intended for decorative glossy coatings of wooden building elements, it is highly resistant to moisture and water. It is characterized by excellent workability, long-term protection against weathering, and a matte finish. The varnish especially highlights the wood grain. It is suitable, for example, for coatings of garden furniture, sports equipment, cork, wall coverings in interiors and exteriors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be completely stripped of all resin outbursts beforehand, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pretreatment significantly affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall durability of the coating system.
The surface of the wood must first be impregnated with a suitable primer that ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate and higher protection of the wood (in case of using a fungicidal primer, also protection against fungal and insect attacks). Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper, and only then should synthetic varnish be applied.

thinner BALTECH S6006 (brushes, rollers), thinner BALTECH S6001 (spraying)

Theoretical yield:

14 - 17 m²/l per coat

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush, roller, or spraying after thorough mixing on a pre-prepared substrate.
Wood coating
1. 1x coating with LAZUROL CLASSIC S 1023 glaze or fungicidal primer LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033
2. 2x coating with LAZUROL MARINE VARNISH S1119. The second and further coat of varnish can be applied after 24 hours. The optimal thickness of one coat of paint is 25-30 μm.
