Lazurol Aqua v1303 thick-layer semi-matt wood varnish, 600 g

LAZUROL Aqua V1303 is a semi-matt thick-layer wood varnish, it is water-based, colorless, intended for new and renovation coatings of wooden products, especially in outdoor environments.

It is suitable for all types of wood, the surface film is perfectly flexible. The varnish is water-resistant, the surface is non-sticky (antiblocking). It is not suitable for coating wooden floors and stairs. It contains an effective UV filter. It meets the requirements of ČSN EN 71 – 3, part 3: Safety of toys. Migration of certain elements.

Properties of LAZUROL wood varnish

• For all types of wood with volume-stable profile
• Interior and exterior environments
• Shades: Semi-matt, transparent varnish. Color shades in the TELURMIX system.
• Coverage 6 to 8 m²/kg
• Dilution with water
• Application method brush or spraying
• Not suitable for coating wooden floors and stairs.
• Contains an effective UV filter.

Example of wood varnishing procedure:

Sand dry raw wood (moisture max. 12 %) with sandpaper #120 - 150, wash resin spots with thinner. For application on products for outdoor use, we recommend applying a penetrating coat containing fungicidal agents using LAZUROL AQUA PRESERVER V1314 or LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033 (when using S1033, a technological break of 48 hours is necessary).

After the penetration dries, lightly sand the surface with sandpaper #220 - 240 and remove dust. Before use, mix the contents thoroughly. Apply 2 - 3 times with a brush or by spraying with a time interval of 4 - 24 hours between each coating depending on temperature and humidity. After drying the first coat, it is advisable to sand it with sandpaper #400. Recommended application temperature 15 to 25 °C.

Warning for LAZUROL wood varnish:

This product is not suitable for coating floors and wood in permanently moist environments (e.g. saunas), wood treated with oils or waxes, or products containing waxes. Stackability and adhesion of painted surfaces must be tested under specific conditions. The product is not intended for coatings that come into direct contact with food, animal feed, and drinking water.
