Lazurol Aqua v1303 thick layer semi-matt wood varnish, 600 g

LAZUROL Aqua V1303 is a semi-matt thick layer wood varnish, water-based, colorless, intended for new and renovation coatings of wooden products, especially in outdoor environments.

It is suitable for all types of wood, and the surface film is perfectly flexible. The varnish is water-resistant, and the surface is non-sticky (antiblocking). It is not suitable for coating wooden floors and stairs. It contains an effective UV filter. It meets the requirements of ČSN EN 71 – 3 , part 3: Safety of toys. Migration of certain elements.

Properties of LAZUROL wood varnish

• For all types of wood with a volumetrically stable profile
• Suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments
• Shades: Semi-matt, transparent varnish. Color shades in the TELURMIX system.
• Coverage 6 to 8 m²/kg
• Dilutable with water
• Application method: brush or spraying
• Not suitable for coatings of wooden floors and stairs.
• Contains an effective UV filter.

Example of the varnishing procedure for wood:

Dry raw wood (moisture max. 12 %) should be sanded with sandpaper no. 120 - 150, and resinous spots should be washed with thinner. For application on products for outdoor use, we recommend performing a penetrating coat containing fungicidal substances with LAZUROL AQUA IMPREGNATING PRIMER V1314 or LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033 (when using S1033, a technological pause of 48 hours is necessary).

After drying the penetration, lightly sand the surface with sandpaper no. 220 - 240 and remove dust. Before use, thoroughly mix the contents. Apply 2 - 3 times with a brush or spraying, with a time interval of 4 - 24 hours between coats, depending on temperature and air humidity. After the first coat has dried, it is advisable to sand with sandpaper no. 400. Recommended application temperature is 15 to 25 °C.

Warnings for LAZUROL wood varnish:

This product is not suitable for coatings of floors and wood in permanently damp environments (e.g., saunas), wood treated with oils or waxes, or products containing waxes. Stackability and touch-up of coated areas should be tested under specific conditions. The product is not intended for coatings coming into direct contact with food, animal feed, and drinking water.
