Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is designed for protective staining coatings for soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as coatings for interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall coverings, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the structure of the wood and emphasizes its texture. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for interior use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall coverings, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be free from all resin exudates beforehand, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 nitro thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall durability of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be treated with a suitable fungicidal impregnating agent that provides protection against mold, fungi, and insects, such as LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should preferably be treated with colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetrating with a colorless impregnating agent ensures uniform absorption of the substrate before further application of coatings. It is then necessary to sand the surface of the wood with fine sandpaper and only then apply the impregnation stain. In the case of renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer from the wood, for example, by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l per coat depending on the absorbency of the substrate

WORKING PROCEDURE:

It is applied with a brush after thorough mixing on a pre-prepared substrate. There is no need to dilute the stain, it is already in application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly stir the staining lacquer. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 layers, for outdoor coatings it is advisable to use three layers, but only in colored shades. The colorless stain is intended for indoor applications. Individual coats can be applied at 24-hour intervals. To uniformly highlight the grain of the wood, it is advisable to wipe off the unabsorbed lacquer after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

For large areas, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coat of the wood affect the final shade of the coating, so we recommend performing a test coat before the final application. Complaints about color shades will only be recognized if the sample area is claimed.

For high gloss, the dried coating applied with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or a natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKING VARNISH S1020.

Notice: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with the stain must be disposed of securely, as they may spontaneously ignite under certain conditions.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
