Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T023 teak, 2.5 + 0.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is designed for protective staining coatings on soft and hard wood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deeply into the structure of the wood and emphasizes its grain. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 -natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be free of all resin exudates beforehand, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of wood pre-treatment depends on the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also on the overall durability of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal impregnator that protects the wood from mold, fungi, and insects, for example, with LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should first be impregnated with the colorless glaze LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetrating with a colorless impregnator ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before further application of the coatings. The wood surface must then be sanded with fine sandpaper and only then apply the impregnating glaze. When doing renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of old non-adhering layers, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical yield: 13-15 m²/l for one coat depending on substrate absorbency

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thoroughly mixing on a previously prepared substrate. The glaze does not need to be diluted, it is already at application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly mix the glazing lacquer. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 coats; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three coats, but only in colored shades. The colorless glaze is intended for interior applications. Individual coatings can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To evenly enhance the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off any unabsorbed lacquer after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

For coherent surfaces, always use material from the same production batch. When using the same production batch, the same color shade is guaranteed. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood influence the final shade of the coating, so we recommend performing a test coating before the final application. Claims for color shades will only be accepted for a complaint of the test area.

For high gloss, the dried coating applied with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be topped with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of the glaze LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with glaze must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain conditions.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX toning system.
