LAZUROL OKNOBAL EMAIL U2015 is a top synthetic paint for windows and doors.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE:

The paint is intended for glossy top coatings of wood, especially wooden windows, doors, wooden frames, various claddings, ceilings, furniture (including garden furniture) etc. in interior and exterior. It features excellent mechanical properties, high coverage, UV resistance, outstanding plasticity, very fast drying, and high gloss. The paint spreads well, does not run while applying, and has excellent flowability. The white shade is characterized by high whiteness.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be completely freed from all resin exudations, for example by washing with nitro thinner C 6000. The quality of wood pre-treatment depends on the overall appearance of the final wood surface finish and the overall durability of the coating system. The surface of the wood must first be soaked with a suitable primer that ensures uniform absorption of the substrate and higher protection for the wood (if a fungicide primer is used, it also protects against mold, fungi, and insect infestation). Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be lightly sanded with fine sandpaper and then a base coat for wood applied. In renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of old non-adherent coatings and ensure good substrate adhesion (when completely removing the old coating, the new coating is applied gradually, including soaking the wood). It is recommended to follow the complete coating system according to the manufacturer's data sheet.

Theoretical coverage: 15 - 17 m²/l for one coat

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Before use, the contents should be thoroughly mixed and diluted if necessary. The paint is applied to the prepared substrate with a brush, roller, or spray.

1. 1x coat with the colorless lazure LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or to achieve protection against wood-destroying fungi and molds, it is suitable to use LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033 as a soaking coat. Excess primer should be wiped off after 10 to 15 minutes with a cloth or dry brush.
2. After 24 hours of drying, lightly sand with sandpaper.
3. 1x coat with base paint PRAGOPRIMER PLUS S2070 or LAZUROL OKNOBAL BASE S2060, optimal film thickness of one layer 25 to 30 µm, drying time 6 hours.
4. Sanding with sandpaper.
5. 1 to 2x coat with top email LAZUROL OKNOBAL EMAIL U2015, optimal thickness of one coat 35 µm. To create long-lasting efficiency of the coating, it is advisable to apply the paint in two thinner layers. A coat thickness of 35 µm can be overcoated 10 hours after the first layer at a temperature of 20 - 25 °C. With greater thickness, the interval between applications should be extended.
