Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T064 beech, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coatings for soft and hardwood, exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden eaves, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the structure of the wood and highlights its texture. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easy to renew, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden eaves, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

PREPARATION OF THE SUBSTRATE:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be thoroughly freed from any resin exudation, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for exterior use must first be impregnated with a suitable fungicide impregnant, which provides protection against mold, fungi, and insects, for example, with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for interior use is ideally first impregnated with a clear stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetration with a clear impregnant ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before the application of further coating materials. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper, and only then should the impregnation stain be applied. In the case of renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of any old, non-adherent layer, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l per one layer depending on substrate absorbency

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, as it is already at application viscosity. During work, the stain should be regularly mixed. For internal use, it is applied in 1 to 2 layers, while for exterior coatings, it is advisable to use three layers, but only in colored shades. The clear stain is intended for interior coatings. Individual layers can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly highlight the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the unabsorbed stain after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

For coherent surfaces, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch ensures the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final color shade; therefore, we recommend performing a test coat before final application. Claims for color shades will only be recognized with a claim from the test area.

For high gloss, the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade stain LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (cloths, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be safely disposed of, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
