Lazurol Aqua P UREX V1301 matte durable wood varnish clear, 600 g

Acrylic urethane water-based wood varnish for interior use. The varnish is designed to create a high-quality and durable surface for all types of wooden floors made of hardwood and softwood in interior spaces. It can also be used for coating plywood, furniture parts, wooden cladding, cork, etc., or as a topcoat over dispersion paints.

It meets the requirements for slip resistance both in dry and wet conditions (ČSN 744507) for floors in all residential and utility spaces, as well as for parts of buildings used by the public – the average coefficient of friction for the entire set must be at least 0.5. It meets the conditions of ČSN EN 71-3, part 3: toy safety. Migration of certain elements.

Properties of Lazurol Aqua P UREX V1301 durable wood varnish:

• Coverage 8 - 12 m² / kg in one coat.
• Application layer top transparent varnish.
• Method of application with a brush, roller, or spraying (including AIRLESS).
• Wood area (varnishes glazes): wooden floors, wooden stairs, parquet, cork, furniture - varnished, doors - varnished.
• Environment exterior/interior: interior - indoor environment.

Application procedure:

Before use, thoroughly stir the varnish. The ambient temperature during application must be between +15 °C and +25 °C. It is applied with a brush, roller, or spraying. The surface of the wood to be varnished must be free of all dirt, dust, and old non-adhering coatings. Resinous spots must be washed with solvent and the surface carefully sanded with progressively graded sandpaper P80-100-120-150 (the grit to be adjusted according to the condition, type, and quality of the substrate). After removing dust created during sanding, one layer of varnish diluted with a maximum of 10% water is applied. After 2 hours of drying, the surface is lightly sanded with sandpaper P220-400. After again removing dust created during sanding, two layers of undiluted varnish are applied with a time interval of 2-8 hours. If the time interval between individual coats is more than 8 hours, light sanding with sandpaper P220-400 is recommended.

You may find masking materials useful, such as paper masking tape or covering film, possibly sanding papers. Don't forget brushes and rollers.
