Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T021 walnut, 2.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coatings for soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, wood floor penetration). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the wood structure and emphasizes its texture. It provides long-term protection of wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 -natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, wood floor penetration.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be thoroughly cleaned of all resin leaks, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 nitro thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be treated with a suitable fungicidal impregnator, which protects the wood from mildew, fungi, and insects, e.g., with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should preferably be treated first with a clear stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or a natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The penetration of a clear impregnator ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before the application of coating materials. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper before applying the staining impregnator. During renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of older incompatible layers, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one coat depending on the absorbency of the substrate

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

It is applied with a brush after thorough mixing on the prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, as it is already at application viscosity. During work, the staining varnish must be regularly stirred. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 coats, while for outdoor coatings, it is recommended to use three coats, but only in colored shades. The clear stain is intended for interior coatings. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. For uniform highlighting of the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off any excess varnish after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

For consistent areas, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating, so it is recommended to perform a test coating before final application. Complaints about color shades will only be recognized with complaints about the test area.

For high gloss, the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be coated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or natural shade stain LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be recoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with the stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
