Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T021 walnut, 2.5 l

Thin-layer wood stain Lazurol Topdecor S1035 is used for protective staining coatings for both hard and soft wood exposed to weather influences and for application indoors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). This wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It penetrates deep into the wood structure and emphasizes its natural grain. It ensures long-term protection of wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are color-stable, do not crack, and can be easily renewed. Shade T000 - natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling cladding, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-treated to remove all resin exudation, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal impregnation that protects the wood against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use should first be impregnated with a clear coat LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetration with a clear impregnating solution will ensure uniform absorbency of the substrate before further application of coatings. Subsequently, the surface of the wood should be sanded with fine sandpaper and only then apply the impregnation stain. In renovation coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer, e.g., by sanding.

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply the product with a brush after thorough mixing on the pre-treated substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted as it already has the application viscosity. During work, regularly mix the staining varnish. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 layers; for outdoor coatings, we recommend three layers, but exclusively in color shades. The clear stain is for use in interiors. Individual coats can be applied 24 hours apart. To evenly emphasize the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the unabsorbed varnish with a dry brush or cloth after 10 to 15 minutes of application.

When painting continuous areas, use strictly material from the same production batch, which guarantees the same color shade. The resulting shade is affected by the type, condition of the surface, and previous coats of wood, so we recommend doing a test coat before the final application. Color shade complaints can only be accepted based on an assessment of the test area.

To achieve a high gloss, the dried coat can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERZÁLNÍ LAK S1002 or the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037. For floors, LAZUROL VENKOVNÍ POCHOZÍ LAK S1020 can be used.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with the stain must be disposed of safely, as they can self-ignite under certain conditions.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
