Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T020 chestnut, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining of soft and hardwoods exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetrating wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the wood structure and highlights its texture. It provides long-lasting protection of wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily restorable, and do not crack. Shade T000 -natural is intended for interior use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cottages and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetrating wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture of 12%, free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be beforehand cleansed of all resin exudates, e.g., by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood preparation depends on the overall appearance of the final wood finish and also on the overall durability of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must be pre-treated with a suitable fungicidal primer, which ensures protection against mold, fungi, and insects, for example, with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use is preferably treated first with a colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Treating with a colorless primer ensures uniform absorption of the substrate before applying the coating materials. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper, and only then can the penetrating stain be applied. In renovation coatings, it is essential to remove the old non-adhering layer, e.g., by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one layer depending on substrate absorbency

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted; it is already at application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly stir the staining lacquer. For internal use, apply in 1 to 2 layers; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three layers, but only in color shades. Colorless stain is intended for coatings in interiors. Individual coatings can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. For uniform highlighting of the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off the unsaturated varnish with a dry brush or cloth after 10 to 15 minutes of application.

Always use material from the same production batch for larger areas. When using the same production batch, the same color shade is guaranteed. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood influence the final shade of the coating, so it is recommended to perform a test coating before final application. Color shade complaints will only be accepted if the complaint is based on the test area.

For a high gloss finish, it is possible to recoat the dried coat made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of stain LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be recoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with the stain must be safely disposed of, as they may self-ignite under certain conditions.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
