UNIBAL impregnating oil O1000, 4 l

Oil-based impregnator on a traditional natural basis, designed mainly for basic impregnation of wood, with excellent penetrating properties.

CHARACTERISTICS AND USE OF THE PRODUCT:
It is primarily used for basic impregnation of wood, plasters, and other absorbent substrates, before applying further oil-based, synthetic, or dispersion coatings. It ensures complete adhesion of topcoats, thus protecting the substrate from adverse weather conditions.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be pre-cleaned from all resin exudates, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood surface finish and the overall lifespan of the coating system. Mineral substrates must be fully cured for at least 28 days before application, must be dry and free of dust, and must not be contaminated with grease, petroleum products, and must be isolated from ground moisture.

DILUENT: BALTECH S6006

Theoretical coverage: ca 7 m²/ l for one layer depending on substrate absorbency

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

Before use, stir the contents thoroughly and dilute as necessary. Apply with a brush, roller, or by dipping onto the pre-prepared substrate.
Colored wood coating:
  - 1× coat with UNIBAL IMPREGNATING OIL O1000. After about 20 minutes, it is essential to wipe off excess oil so that a glossy layer does not remain on the surface
  - after 48 hours of drying, sand the surface with sandpaper
  - 1 to 2 coats with UNIBAL BASE PAINT O2025
  - 1 to 2 coats with top enamel INDUSTROL UNIVERSAL S2013 or LAZUROL WINDOW ENAMEL U2015
