Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T021 walnut, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining coats for soft and hard wood exposed to weather influences, as well as for coatings indoors (garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the structure of the wood and emphasizes its texture. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easy to restore, and do not crack. Shade T000 -natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden gables, ceilings, wall and ceiling paneling, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a moisture content of max. 12%, and free of resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be cleaned of all resin exudates beforehand, e.g. by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pretreatment affects the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use must first be treated with a suitable fungicidal impregnant to protect the wood against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g. with LAZUROL IMPREGNATING BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use is best treated first with a clear stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or with the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Treating with a clear impregnant ensures uniform absorbency of the substrate before applying the coating materials. Subsequently, the surface of the wood must be sanded with fine sandpaper and then the impregnant stain applied. When renovating coatings, the wood must be stripped of the old non-adhering layer, e.g. by sanding.

DILUTION: BALTECH S6006 thinner (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l for one coat depending on substrate absorbency

WORKING PROCEDURE:

Apply with a brush after thorough mixing on the pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted; it is already at application viscosity. During the work, the staining lacquer must be regularly mixed. For indoor use, apply in 1 to 2 coats; for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three coats, but only with colored shades. The clear stain is intended for interior coatings. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. For a uniform highlighting of the wood grain, it is recommended to wipe off the unwetted lacquer 10 to 15 minutes after application using a dry brush or cloth.

Always use material from the same production batch for large areas. When using the same production batch, the same color shade is guaranteed. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating, so we recommend performing a test coat before the final application. Complaints about color shades will only be acknowledged upon complaint of the test area.

For high gloss, it is possible to topcoat the dried finish done with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or with the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be topcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked in stain must be safely disposed of, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Tinting: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
