Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T021 walnut, 750 ml

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective staining of soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for indoor coatings (garden furniture, wooden shields, ceilings, wall paneling, fences, cottages, and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates the structure of the wood and emphasizes its pattern. It provides long-lasting protection for wood against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 -natural is intended for indoor use only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden shields, ceilings, wall paneling, fences, cottages, and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

Wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, and free from any resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be stripped of all resin exudates beforehand, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood's pre-treatment depends on the overall appearance of the final wood finish and the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The surface of the wood intended for outdoor use should first be treated with a suitable fungicidal impregnation that protects the wood against mold, fungi, and insects, for example, with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The surface of the wood intended for indoor use is preferably pre-treated with colorless stain LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. Penetration with a colorless impregnation ensures uniform absorption of the substrate before applying the coating materials. It is necessary to sand the wood surface with fine sandpaper before applying the impregnation stain. When renovating coatings, it is necessary to remove the old non-adhering layer, for example, by sanding.

WORKING PROCEDURE:

It is applied with a brush after thorough mixing on the previously prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted as it is already at application viscosity. During work, it is necessary to regularly stir the stain. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 layers, while for outdoor coatings, it is advisable to use three layers, but only in colored shades. Colorless stain is intended for indoor coatings. Individual coats can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. To uniformly emphasize the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe off any excess stain after 10 to 15 minutes of application using a dry brush or cloth.

For cohesive areas, always use material from the same production batch. By using the same production batch, the same color shade is guaranteed. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood affect the final shade of the coating, therefore a test coat is recommended before the final application. Complaints regarding color shades will only be accepted when reported on the test area.

For high gloss, the dried coat made with Lazurol TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or the natural shade of LAZUROL GOLD S1037 stain. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR FOOTWASH VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (rags, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with stain must be disposed of safely, as they may self-ignite under certain circumstances.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX toning system.
