Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain T025 cherry, 2.5 l

Lazurol Topdecor S1035 thin-layer wood stain is intended for protective wood stains for soft and hardwood exposed to weather conditions, as well as for coatings in interiors (garden furniture, wooden eaves, ceilings, wall and ceiling claddings, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors). The wood stain contains wax, natural oil, and transparent iron oxides. It deeply penetrates into the wood structure and enhances its texture. It provides long-term wood protection against water and UV radiation. The coatings are colorfast, easily renewable, and do not crack. Shade T000 - natural is intended for use indoors only!!

Examples of use: garden furniture, wooden eaves, ceilings, wall and ceiling claddings, fences, cabins and wooden houses, windows, doors, cork, penetration of wooden floors.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:

The wood must be clean, dry, well-sanded, with a maximum moisture content of 12%, free from resin residues before application. Wood with a high resin content (larch, pine) must be thoroughly cleaned of all resin exudations, for example, by washing with BALTECH C6000 thinner. The quality of the wood pre-treatment affects the overall appearance of the final surface finish and also the overall lifespan of the coating system.

The wood surface intended for outdoor use should first be impregnated with a suitable fungicidal primer that protects the wood against mold, fungi, and insects, e.g., with LAZUROL IMPREGNATION BASE S1033. The wood surface intended for indoor use should first be impregnated with the colorless LAZUROL CLASSIC S1023 or the natural shade LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035. The penetration with colorless primer ensures an even absorbency of the substrate before the application of the coatings. Subsequently, the wood surface should be sanded with fine sandpaper, and only then should the impregnating stain be applied. For renovation coatings, the wood must be stripped of the old non-adhering layer, for example, by sanding.

DILUTION: thinner BALTECH S6006 (especially for cleaning tools)

Theoretical coverage: 13-15 m²/l per layer depending on substrate absorbency

APPLICATION PROCEDURE:

It is applied with a brush after thorough mixing on the pre-prepared substrate. The stain does not need to be diluted, it is already at the application viscosity. During work, the staining varnish must be regularly stirred. For indoor use, it is applied in 1 to 2 layers; for outdoor applications, it is advisable to use three layers, but only in color shades. The colorless stain is intended for interior applications. Individual coatings can be applied at intervals of 24 hours. For a uniform enhancement of the wood grain, it is advisable to wipe the non-absorbed varnish after 10 to 15 minutes of application with a dry brush or cloth.

For continuous areas, always use material from the same production batch. Using the same production batch guarantees the same color shade. The type, surface, and previous coating of the wood influence the final color shade, so we recommend carrying out a test application before the final application. Claims for color shades will only be accepted if made from a test area.

For high gloss, the dried coating made with LAZUROL TOPDECOR S1035 can be overcoated with LAZUROL UNIVERSAL VARNISH S1002 or with the natural shade of the stain LAZUROL GOLD S1037. Floors can be overcoated with LAZUROL OUTDOOR WALKABLE VARNISH S1020.

Warning: Absorbent materials (cloths, sawdust, papers, dust, etc.) soaked with the stain must be disposed of safely, as they may spontaneously ignite under certain circumstances.

Toning: Color shades can also be prepared in the TELURMIX tinting system.
